Recognising PACFA’s Leadership Volunteers Through Complimentary Online CPD

PACFA is pleased to recognise the significant contribution of Board, Committee and Leadership Group volunteers, who generously give their time, expertise and leadership to support PACFA and the counselling, Indigenous Healing Practices and psychotherapy profession.

As part of this recognition, eligible Board, Committee and Leadership Group volunteers who have volunteered with PACFA for six months or more can access up to ten PACFA online community continuing professional development (CPD) webinars per financial year. To access this benefit, volunteers can use their relevant complimentary CPD code during the CPD registration process.

This policy is one way PACFA supports its volunteer leaders' ongoing professional development while recognising the important work they undertake on behalf of the profession. In the 2025-26 financial year alone, eligible volunteers accessed 305 complimentary places across PACFA online community CPD webinars, representing $11,724 in professional development support.

When attended live, PACFA online community CPD webinars count towards Category A CPD. As these webinars are generally two hours long, eligible volunteers can access up to 20 hours of Category A CPD each financial year through this policy.

Please note that complimentary CPD codes vary between Board, Committee and Leadership Groups. Complimentary CPD access applies to PACFA online community CPD webinars only. It does not apply to face-to-face workshops, conferences, networking events, online short courses or other paid CPD sessions.

Thank you to all Board, Committee and Leadership Group volunteers for their continued contribution, leadership and commitment to strengthening the profession.
