Australian Defence Force Family Program is Now Offering Counselling Rebates via ARHG

The Australian Defence Force Family Program has joined the list of health funds offering counselling rebates through the Australian Regional Health Group (ARHG). If you're already an ARHG-accredited provider, no further action is needed, you can now offer rebates to clients covered under this program.

Clients with cover through the Australian Defence Force Family Program are eligible for rebates. However, we recommend confirming with the client that their policy includes counselling rebates, as eligibility may depend on the specific product.

To learn more or to apply to become an ARHG-recognised provider, visit PACFA’s ARHG Health Funds Rebates webpage. Please note that the Australian Defence Force Family Program requires all counsellors to be accredited with ARHG in order to process client claims.

Why Obtain a Health Fund Provider Number?

  • Client Rebates: Accreditation allows your clients to claim rebates from their health fund for your services.
  • Professional Credibility: Recognition by health funds supports your standing as a qualified practitioner.
  • Increased Visibility: Clients looking for rebate-eligible services are more likely to choose accredited providers.
