Art therapy can provide a valuable tool for therapists and counsellors for helping their clients individually or in groups. In the series of workshops, Helen will give a brief introduction to art therapy and how she works.
Topics covered include:
- How to invite and support clients to engage in art processes
- How to work relationally with clients using creative media
- How art provides a way for individuals to express themselves in a nonverbal way
- How art can heighten awareness, meaning and consolidate the work of therapy
This workshop is experiential and interactional.
