What you’ll do

As a Manager at CatholicCare Sydney, you will guide and oversee a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of client-focused services aligned with the company's Mission, Visions, and Values. Your role is integral to providing leadership that is compassionate, inclusive, and rooted in the organisation ethics. Your responsibilites include providing clear direction, support, feedback, and clinical supervision to your team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. You will translate and communicate strategic and operational objectives, policies, and directives to engage your team and align their efforts with organisational goals. Monitoring and evaluating service delivery against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be essential, as will analysing performance data to identify and implement enhancements in service delivery. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of professional practice techniques and apply this knowledge to optimize client outcomes. Your role will involve providing guidance on the management of complex and high-needs clients, ensuring interventions are appropriate and aligned with professional qualifications. Effective workload management across the team will be key, alongside overseeing staffing resources, professional development, and supervision plans within budget constraints. Responsibilities also include rostering, processing timesheets, and maintaining program policies and procedures.Building and nurturing positive relationships with key stakeholders is crucial for achieving client, community, and funding outcomes. You will facilitate team and cross-divisional meetings to foster a high-performing service culture, addressing service delivery issues, exchanging information, establishing operational priorities, and communicating policy and legislative changes. Providing timely, high-level advice to Senior and Executive Management on service delivery, team performance, and related matters will be part of your role. You will implement and monitor quality assurance activities, ensuring accurate data capture and compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.

  • Hourly rate of $56.13 - $58.47 plus super plus salary packaging

 

What you’ll bring

As a candidate for this position, you will bring industry-relevant experience in coordinating services and supporting both individuals and teams to achieve client-focused outcomes. Your experience in establishing or implementing new programs or service initiatives is highly valued. You hold relevant qualifications, such as a tertiary degree in psychology, counselling, social work, or nursing, and have attained at least Level 4 ACA or PACFA Clinical accreditation, or APHRA or AASW accreditation. You excel in building and leveraging relationships across multi-functional or multidisciplinary teams to meet agreed objectives. You possess a deep understanding of child protection, domestic and family violence, mental health, and other relevant legislation. Your approach to service delivery is person-centred, trauma-informed, and incorporates FDSV principles. You demonstrate high-level communication and negotiation skills, coupled with strong organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in using electronic client record management systems and holding a current Working with Children Check are essential.
