What you’ll do
Anglicare and CatholicCare are collaborating to deliver an exciting new and life-changing program called Supporting Recovery. As mission-aligned organisations, Anglicare and CatholicCare care about people and our mission is to make a genuine difference in the lives of people in the community.
The Supporting Recovery program will deliver Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV) trauma-informed mental health care services within South West Sydney to support victim-survivors in their longer-term recovery.
Key elements of the service include:
- Victim-survivors of FDSV and their families have free access for up to 2 years to evidence-based trauma informed mental health care
- Provision of psychological therapies and other appropriate wellbeing and social interventions
- Collaborations with other services to facilitate coordination of care and assist with referral pathways
- Community engagement activities to increase community awareness
The purpose of this role is to provide family, domestic and sexual violence (FDSV) trauma-informed mental health care services, including psychological therapies and other appropriate wellbeing and social interventions within South West Sydney to support victim-survivors in their longer-term recovery. The successful candidate willensure that the program is consistent with the Supporting Recovery Model of Care.

- Full-time, permanent position
- Located in Campbelltown and Liverpool
- Salary as per SCHADS 7
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary degree qualification applicable to role; e.g. psychology, counselling, social work, nursing or similar
- Previous experience leading a team of professionals working in mental health (mandatory)
- Registration with relevant professional body; i.e. PACFA Clinical, minimum level 4 ACA, APHRA, AASW mental health social worker accreditation
- 5+ years’ experience working with clients experiencing mental health challenges and FDSV (essential)
- Previous experience supporting CALD clients (desirable)
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence, Police Check, and NSW WWCC
