What you’ll do

The Clinical Lead of the Supporting Recovery program will deliver Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV) trauma-informed mental health care services within South West Sydney to support victim-survivors in their longer-term recovery. A great opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead to provide supervision and development to a Mental Health Practitioner team, ensuring the implementation of effective person-centred practices.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all program staff are well supported with appropriate clinical supervision and professional development staff
  • Working collaboratively with Local Care Team, Anglicare colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure a positive experience for program clients
  • Providing evidence-based therapies to victim survivors of FDSV for up to 2 years
  • Collaborating with other services to facilitate coordination of care and assisting with referral pathways
  • Engaging with the community to increase awareness, encourage help-seeking behaviour, recovery and healing through trauma-informed mental health care and available supports


The details

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Located in Fairfield and Liverpool, South Western Sydney
  • Hourly rate of $51.90 to $54.19 plus super plus generous salary packaging

 

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary degree qualification applicable to role; e.g. psychology, counselling, social work, nursing or similar
  • Registration with relevant professional body; i.e. PACFA Clinical, minimum level 4 ACA, APHRA, AASW mental health social worker accreditation
  • Extensive experience working with clients experiencing mental health challenges and FDSV (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a high performing team and maintain a positive workplace culture
  • Previous experience supporting CALD clients
  • Current NSW Driver’s Licence and WWCC
