About me

My practice
Welcome to the unique world of Soul Centred Psychotherapy - a transformative journey which unfolds in a safe and supportive space with empathy, grace, dignity and most importantly, in the context of a genuine human relationship with your therapist.

In a time when individuals often feel reduced to a diagnosis, a holistic approach offers a different path. It connects us to meaning, purpose and the deeper currents of life.

The pain and woundings of living a human life cannot escape any of us.
And so, it begins with the troubles and pain of an issue that moves you to seek therapy.

It can be useful to compare therapy to some of the work of archeologists. A therapeutic relationship, in the same way as an archeological team, aim to gently brush away settled dust and debris to uncover the authentic you and re-establish foundations. As we embark on this exploratory work, so often hidden within these inevitable woundings of living a human life are miraculous creative gifts.

Getting to know Maria - Maria is currently completing further studies, a Master of Holistic Psychotherapy. Part her initial study and training involved personally undertaking 4 years of in-depth psychotherapy as a client attending to her own soul work. Therefore, she has profound respect for those entering this process and a deep honoring of your unique story, journey, struggles and desires.

She is a graduate of Melbourne University and spent her earlier career in roles at a international consulting firms and humanitarian organisations. When commitments to children gave space, she followed a strong intuition to transition to work with people who were dying, which led her to study Psychotherapy as a mature age student.

Maria’s personal areas of interest are: Death & Grief, Life Transitions, Life Purpose, Relationship Challenges, Trauma Healing, Confidence Development, Speech/Voice Issues, Executive/Business well-being.
