Thank you for applying to PACFA as an Academic non-practising member, we value your knowledge and expertise in the field of counselling and psychotherapy.
Before completing your application for Academic non-practising Membership, you will need to have ready the documents listed below. Please also have a credit card for payment at hand to complete the application.
Applicants will need to pay the Academic application fee of $138, and upload the following information:
- A certified copy of your academic transcript and completion certificate for your educator and/or counselling and/or psychotherapy qualifications, including PhD if relevant
- Evidence you have been employed in an educator role with a 0.5 workload minimum, over the past two years
- Evidence of your contribution to the field of counselling and psychotherapy in research and education (ie. a list of publications or formal conference presentations)
- A letter from your employer to confirm that you are covered by their insurance policy for your education work
PLEASE NOTE: You will be asked to log in/create an account before you are able to complete the below application form. The application automatically saves so you are able to return to it later if you need to pause. The application fee is non-refundable.
