The online Certificate in CBT is live and interactive over five days. Learn to identify activating events, beliefs and consequences; utilise disputational skills; and use CBT with problems involving depression, anger and anxiety. Teaching approaches include lectures, modeling, and skills development in small groups. This course is suitable for the beginner or for those wishing to build upon their existing skills.
*There will be four morning lectures covering the topics of Introduction to CBT, CBT with Depression, CBT with Anxiety and CBT with Anger.
*Between the lecture and the following weeks supervision session , participants are required to practice and record a particular CBT skill with a buddy from their supervision group. This will also be done online.
*The four supervision sessions will have a maximum of 6 in a group with a trainer. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.
*Detailed instructions will be given regarding how to use the online platform. It will not be onerous. Please note that the times below are in Australian Eastern Standard Time.

The text “CBT in Action: A Practitioner’s Tool Kit” will be mailed to the participants in plenty of time to enable the pre-reading.
Participants will be sent the set of teaching USBs with the Small Screen Series showing Assoc Prof Monica O’Kelly and Dr Dom DiMattia demonstrating CBT with a depressed, an anxious and an angry client.
This event counts as 27 hours of category A CPD for PACFA’s membership renewal requirements
