Updates to PACFA CPD endorsement guidelines

We are pleased to announce important updates to the PACFA Continuing Professional Development (CPD) endorsement guidelines, effective from 1 July 2024. These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards and providing relevant professional development opportunities for our registrants and members.

15 July 2024

Key updates
  • Extended duration courses: new guidelines for courses up to 20 weeks or 100 hours.
  • Revised fee structure: Updated fees to better align with the endorsement options and course durations.
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement: Enhancements based on feedback gathered since the roll out of the revised guidelines in May 2023, ensuring a more streamlined and effective endorsement process.
Transition period

To assist our valued providers during this transition, we will honour the current fee structure for applications submitted by existing providers before 1 September 2024. This two month period allows providers time to adjust to the new guidelines and fee structure.

These changes are designed to support education and training providers in delivering high-quality, diverse, and relevant CPD courses that align with the person-centred approach of the profession.
