We are excited to announce that the rollout of our members’ new interactive registration digital badges has commenced. These new digital badges are issued from one of the world’s largest providers of online digital credentials, Credly. (For further information on Credly,

The new digital badges not only support recognition of the skills and expertise of our members, they are also an investment that has the potential to boost professional recognition and community awareness of counsellors, psychotherapists and Indigenous Healing Practitioners. Ultimately, the digital badges complement PACFA’s ongoing quality assurance and advocacy work in line with the development of National Standards for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
The digital badge rollout will be a weekly staggered process. During this time, we kindly request your patience as we distribute the badges and update information for you.
Please note, the Registered Clinical Psychotherapist Digital Badge is currently in the final stage of development with the College of Psychotherapy, and we plan to include this in the staggered roll out once finalised.
When your badge is on its way, you will be sent a pre-notification message from PACFA at least three days prior to your badge being sent through to you via the Credly platform.
