The heart of Australian associations beat in Canberra on April 30 and May 1 as the Associations Forum National Conference brought together leaders from across the country.

PACFA was well-represented by Assessment Coordinator Sean Scanlon and Executive Assistant and Office Manager Olivia Ehrenberg. Their attendance provided PACFA with valuable opportunities to network with influential leaders and policy decision-makers. The conference itself was an invigorating experience, offering a plethora of knowledge and connections over the course of two exciting days.

Over 40 educational sessions and countless networking opportunities filled the conference program, attracting hundreds of attendees eager to share best practices and advance the association sector. Senator David Pocock, a rising political figure, engaged in a thought-provoking Q&A session with CEOs from various associations. The celebratory spirit reached its peak during the conference dinner held at the historic Old Parliament House. This venue, steeped in Australian political history, provided a unique backdrop for commemorating the Associations Forum's 20th anniversary. Guests were treated to fascinating anecdotes about the building, adding a touch of historical charm to the festivities.

PACFA's participation in the Associations Forum National Conference highlights its commitment to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange within the association community. The connections made and insights gained at this event will undoubtedly benefit PACFA and its members in the months and years to come.
