Meeting with the Australian College of Relationship Counsellors (ACRC)

We are pleased to provide an update from the recent meeting of the Australian College of Relationship Counsellors (ACRC). The meeting, which took place on 2 July, was attended by a number of members who discussed critical aspects of re-establishing the leadership group for the ACRC.

17 July 2024

A division of PACFA, the ACRC promotes relationship counselling in Australia. Together, the ACRC and PACFA raise awareness, offer support and guidance and establish professional standards and development opportunities for relationship counsellors.

Key topics of the meeting included the importance of leadership roles within the College, strategies to support relationship counsellors, and initiatives to increase membership. The discussion underscored the necessity of a robust leadership group to drive the College's mission and provide better support to its members.

As a result of the meeting, three attendees have committed to joining the ACRC leadership group. This is a promising step towards revitalizing the College and ensuring it can effectively support its members.

PACFA is dedicated to continuing the growth and development of the ACRC leadership group and looks forward to working closely with the new leaders. We are optimistic about the future of the College and its ability to better serve relationship counsellors.
