Exciting opportunities available with Malvern Private Hospital

Malvern Private Hospital is recruiting for casual and permanent part-time clinicians, and invites expressions of interest to list on its referral database.

Malvern Private, based in Melbourne, is Australia’s leading provider of drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation recovery treatment programs.

PACFA has established a new partnership with the hospital to provide employment, referral, and professional development opportunities for our members.

Hundreds of PACFA members registered for an information session with Malvern Private held on Thursday 19 May.

Malvern Private Hospital Director Dr Eli Kotler presented on the hospital’s approach to addiction and trauma, and Deputy Director and Therapy Manager Monique Warshall outlined how Malvern Private operates, including what opportunities are available to our members.

After watching the recording, clinical members with experience in addiction and trauma are encouraged to submit an expression of interest to list on Malvern Private Hospital's referral database. Preference will be given to practitioners who can work face to face, however telehealth will also be considered.

There is no deadline for submitting, however submissions are reviewed as they come in and are processed on a first-come-first-served basis, so interested members are encouraged to express their interest as soon as possible.

Clinical members and provisional members who are working towards meeting the requirements for clinical membership are eligible to apply for casual and permanent part-time clinician roles for both inpatient and outpatient programs.

As staff are required to conduct therapy in person, practitioners would need to be able to work on-site at the hospital's location in Malvern.

To apply, please submit a resume and cover letter to Monique Warshall, Deputy Director and Therapy Manager at Malvern Private, via [email protected]
