PACFA CPD Listings
PACFA’s CPD event listings provide links to forthcoming Continuing Professional Development opportunities being offered by PACFA and other training providers. Training events take place in a range of locations nationally and some are offered online.
PACFA now only takes advertising for CPD events that are endorsed by PACFA.
PACFA endorses CPD Events that are suitable for PACFA Members and Registrants for their annual CPD requirements. All endorsed events meet the requirements of PACFA’s CPD Policy and are automatically recognised for CPD hours for PACFA Members and Registrants.
Endorsement of an event includes use of the PACFA logo for publicity purposes, advertising on the PACFA website, advertising in the PACFA eNews (optional) and distribution our contact database of counsellors, psychotherapists and professionals from related fields.

PACFA produces 11 e-News editions a year, distributed to over 3,000 engaged and active readers nationally. Each edition provides in-depth articles that matters to the counselling and psychotherapy community, updates on the latest news along with upcoming Professional development events.
Stand-alone eNews advertisements for CPD events are no longer offered, however, we do still take eNews advertisements for other services and products relevant to counselling and psychotherapy. For training providers that wish to advertise in eNews, you are now required to apply for endorsement of your CPD Event by PACFA.

Psychotherapy & Counselling Today
Psychotherapy & Counselling Today is a professional journal, in print magazine format, which aims to provide PACFA members and a broader reading audience with stimulating and informative reading on psychotherapy and counselling in Australia.
The magazine will be valuable to practitioners, educators, researchers and students to support ongoing professional learning. PACFA hopes that Psychotherapy & Counselling Today will make a major contribution to the psychotherapy and counselling profession in Australia by providing high-quality scholarship on a wide range of contemporary topics relevant to professional practice.
Each edition will include feature articles, book reviews, reflections on practice, and dedicated sections on Ethics and Comment.

If you are advertising a role that involves counselling or psychotherapy services, have you considered whether a registered counsellor or psychotherapist could be a suitable match for your role? PACFA Jobs provides employers of counsellors and psychotherapists with free job advertising.
PACFA Jobs are advertised to registered PACFA practitioners only. Registered practitioners can access PACFA Jobs in the member-only section of the PACFA website. This enables us to assist employers to match counselling or psychotherapy jobs with candidates who are suitably qualified and who are registered with PACFA.
