The Victorian government announced on 27th of July that some restrictions were to be eased. This included an end to the stay-at-home requirement.
For PACFA members the major change is that individual face-to-face services are permitted for essential and routine care, where that care/service is not able to be provided via telehealth. Telehealth remains the preferred service delivery model wherever clinically appropriate. Group sessions may resume with a maximum of 10 participants for face to face group interventions (inclusive of staff members)
There is no change to rules on masks, the following rules still apply
• Must be carried at all times
• Must be worn indoors except if at home, or if an exemption applies
• Must be worn outdoors
QR Code Requirements are as follows:
• All businesses and workplaces must ensure all workers and visitors check in using the free Victorian Government QR Code Service; https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/about-victorian-government-qr-code-service
• Exemptions to the use of QR codes cited for support groups and health services related to confidentiality are very much focused on significant risk issues (eg. family violence services), and will not apply to the majority of Allied Health services
