COVID-19 Update for PACFA Members in Victoria & South Australia

PACFA’s South Australian Branch has written to all Branch members with important information on Creating a COVID-Safe Plan to meet new Allied Health requirements which came into force on December 1st.

For our Victorian members, details on all current restrictions and industry-specific COVIDSafe Principles for Allied Health providers, please refer to the current (November 2020) version of the Industry Guidelines, now available to view and download HERE.  

Restrictions on the provision of indoor group therapies by Allied Health providers were lifted under the Final Step in the Roadmap to Reopening, which came into effect across Victoria from 11:59pm on November 22nd.Updated information for the Health & Social Services Sector on the implications of restrictions under each stage of the Roadmap to Recovery is also available on the DHHS Website.

PACFA advises all our Victorian members to refrain from providing indoor group therapy under Step Three Restrictions and ensure that you continue to operate in accordance with COVIDSafe Principles, and that there is a COVIDSafe Plan in place for your place of business.
