Minimum Effort, Maximum Effect: Practical counselling strategies for the everyday counsellor

Over the past 25 or so years, Susan has happened upon and/or formulated several strategies, interventions, psycho-education exercises that are easy to understand, become proficient in, modify, and execute, yet seem to have at least helpful and sometimes hugely beneficial outcomes for clients. She is delighted to be able to share some of these with everyone in what promises to be a highly practical PD.

Susan is the Director and founder of LifeCare Consultancy. With over 25 years’ experience in private practice she has developed expertise in a variety of areas including working with children and families, loss and grief, and post-separation parenting. She lectures/tutors in counselling related courses at the University of Southern Queensland. As a Life Member and accredited supervisor with PACFA Susan provides professional supervision to a range of practitioners in private practice and larger organisations. She is currently undertaking aDoctor of Professional Studies in the area of Reunification therapy following ParentalAbsence.
