Specialisation and Growth with PACFA Colleges

At PACFA, we're dedicated to fostering a community where practice standards, quality assurance, and continuous professional development thrive. Our colleges are at the heart of this mission, offering specialised spaces for members to deepen their expertise, connect, and lead within their fields of interest. The key benefits? Specialisation not only enriches your professional practice but can also enhance your value as a practitioner, and can lead to increased remuneration and recognition. Holding membership to PACFA’s Colleges will provide you with certification of advanced specialist training. A unique benefit of this membership is our upcoming PACFA digital membership badges, available from 2024. These badges will serve as a powerful tool for promoting your expertise and professional development in your marketing materials, showcasing your commitment to excellence and continuous growth within your chosen area(s) of practice.

Embrace College Membership: A Gateway to Specialisation

Your journey with PACFA Colleges starts with free membership to the College of Counselling. This initial College membership is integrated into your PACFA membership, and provides access to a vibrant community of counsellors. The College of Counselling provides CPD, opportunities for networking and peer support, and enables practitioners locally, in rural and remote areas, and abroad to participate in this dedicated professional community.

Interested in exploring beyond? Our specialist Colleges offer advanced training opportunities to registrants who meet the Colleges’ entry requirements. Annual membership of a second specialist College is available to eligible registrants (application and membership fees will apply).
