Florence Ee (Convenor) has 15 years’ experience working as a counsellor. She completed a master’s degree in counselling and is currently working in a sexual assault agency supporting young and adult women. She is also an accredited Interactive Drawing Therapy (IDT) trainer, running regular workshops throughout Australia and New Zealand. Having had prior roles as a database administrator for the Office of Women (QLD) and ICT Officer for the Queensland Counsellors Association (QCA) before the merger with PACFA, she brings this knowledge to PACFA QLD to create an online community for its members so regional and other state members can participate in online professional development. She lives on Turbul and Jagera land with her family, including her two beautiful dogs.


Brett Jones holds a Bachelor of Human Services, Counselling (Honours). He is a life experienced counsellor and is passionate about helping people to find their strengths to make the changes they need to grow. He was a member of the Queensland Counsellors Association (QCA) for 3 years before the merger to PACFA and join

ed the Professional Development (PD) subcommittee in February 2019. During Brett’s involvement with the PD subcommittee, he organised and facilitated some fantastic topics to the QCA members. Brett has worked in addiction counselling at Quitline and suicide support at Lifeline providing online chat service. He is currently a practitioner at Relationships Australia (RA) as a relationships counsellor and the parenting orders program.


Roger Vallance has an extensive background in education both secondary and tertiary levels. As a secondary school counsellor, he is a clinical registrant of PACFA, an accredited supervisor and mental health practitioner. Roger is a registered supervisor with Australasian Association of Supervision (AAOS) and a teacher registered in Queensland. Along with school counselling, Roger supervises other school counsellors as well as supervising intern counsellors completing their practical placement. Roger currently practises in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland. His earlier professional work was in Sydney. Roger holds counselling relevant degrees of Grad. Dip Counselling, Master Clinical Counselling and Bachelor Psychological Science, as well as education degrees of BA (Hons), MEd and PhD. Skilled in SFT, Roger holds certificates and strong interests in CBT, adolescent CBT and adolescent eating disorders. 

Roger is deeply committed to improving counselling services to adolescents and advancing the skill sets of those clinicians who work with adolescents. Roger offers professional supervision both face to face and online via Zoom.


David Lawson has worked in the people helping profession for 22 years, starting out on a Crisis Line. He has clinical and supervisor membership of PACFA and Level 4 and supervisor membership with ACA. David has been in Private Practice for 10 years and lives in regional Queensland. He has Professional Certified Coach membership with the International Coaching Federation – the largest coaching association in the world. David has a Masters of Counselling and a Graduate Certificate in Couples Counselling.



Sarah Forman is registered clinical counsellor and supervisor with PACFA with over 20 years’ experience in the field working within the private, NGO and tertiary education sectors. Currently in private practice she draws from a wide and diverse practice experience which includes 10 years as a counsellor and clinical supervisor with Relationships Australia and 5 years as national manager of counselling and wellbeing for SAE Institute (sister college with ACAP). Her extensive experience in the field of counselling, psychotherapy, and clinical supervision ranges from working with individuals, relationships, families and youth as well as supervising counsellors nationally. Sarah holds bachelor and master’s degrees in counselling from University of New England and is currently completing further research at QUT in clinical supervision. She is compassion focused and trauma informed in all aspects of her practice. Her initial training in Dance Movement Therapy (an embodied arts-based psychotherapy) fostered her ongoing interest in the intersection between creative expression, psychotherapy, and personal development.

 Sarah delivers sessions face to face in the Gold Coast and Brisbane area and via zoom nationwide. Sarah is keen to be part of the leadership team for PACFA and further support the growth and development of counsellors and psychotherapists.

 

Melissa L'Estrange is a Clinical Registrant and Accredited Supervisor with PACFA. Working in private practice primarily as a supervisor, counsellor and psychotherapist, she also offers Training in Transpersonal and Experiential Psychotherapy (TEP), individual and group retreats and Professional Development Workshops.
Melissa is a L7 Trainer in TEP with a Post Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Practice with the University of New England, Diploma of Counselling & Community Services with The Brisbane North Institute of TAFE, & a Certified Practitioner of Holotropic Breathwork.
Melissa worked not only within primary education system for 18 years but also in the rural industry for 36 years during which she developed a deep love of the Australian bush.  Encouraged to look beyond the confines of accepted beliefs, Melissa has taken many journeys - mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically - throughout the world and its people to explore many realms of spirituality, consciousness, learning and the healing modalities. 


Felipe Oliveira is registered clinical counsellor with PACFA & Certified Trauma Practitioner (TRTP) for Men to live Authentic Life™. Recently, Felipe has been incorporating life coaching skills after starting to study Tony Robbins through his books. Felipe has been working in this area for more than a decade, running men's retreats for his own practice and for the major men's groups in Australia. Another passion of his is to help men who have less financial power for such services. Felipe is the President and Founder of a NFP (Counselling Men Project) to offer high-quality therapeutic services to end homelessness, violence and suicide among men in Brisbane. Felipe has been working on this initiative for four years now, with great results. Felipe is also keen to help therapists succeed in their own businesses through profitable networking visioning an abundant and excited life for the counsellors and for their clients. He works online for clients outside South-East Queensland (SEQ), and for those who live in SEQ, he works on face to face in Brisbane (West End).
