Psychotherapy & Counselling Today is the professional journal of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). The journal is a non peer-reviewed publication.
The journal aims to provide stimulating and informative reading on psychotherapy and counselling and to add to the evidence-base, scholarship and debate on psychotherapy and counselling practice, education and research. The journal is aimed at practitioners, educators, researchers and students, to support their ongoing professional learning.
PACFA members and Registrants receive each edition for free at the time of print as a membership benefit.
PACFA hopes that Psychotherapy & Counselling Today will
make a major contribution to psychotherapy and counselling in Australia
by providing high quality scholarship on a wide range of contemporary
topics relevant to professional practice.
The target date for publication of Psychotherapy and Counselling Today is October 2021.
PACFA is currently seeking feature articles, reflections on practice
and articles for regular columns on ethics, training and education,
comment and book reviews. To contribute articles to Psychotherapy & Counselling Today, please email the Editor, Dr Stephen Andrew. Submissions are required to meet the requirements outlined in the Information for Contributors.
The submission deadline for the third edition is May 31, 2021.

Advertisements for Psychotherapy and Counselling Today must be either an EPS file (preferable) of high resolution (300dpi) PDF prepared to the correct dimensions. Non-acceptable file formats include Microsoft Publisher, Word, Pagemaker, Excel, Powerpoint files.

CPD Events must apply for event endorsement in order to advertise in the Psychotherapy and Counselling Today, download and complete the Application for CPD Event Endorsement.
