This presentation by Lauren Pavlidis, Chief Operating Officer and Dr Peter Smith, Director of CDERP looks at the application, complexities of service, and the funding supporting Disability Employment Counselling. Opportunities available to practice and the organisations who look to hire. As well as a chat with one of the Centre's brightest Disability Employment Counsellors, Clare-Louise Lawson, on her journey and experience so far, and what she has found helpful in her practice of employment counselling.
Presenters:
Lauren Pavlidis: COO of CDERP, has been in the disability industry for several years, with experience in Research, training, and mental health.
Dr Peter Smith: CDERP’s Director, is an industry recognised international expert in Disability Employment and Visiting Fellow at Cornell University, he advises on government reforms and continues to expand on our research.
Clare-Louise Lawson: One of CDERP’s promising, passionate and experienced Disability Employment Counsellor working in the Work First Program.
