sufferers of emotional dysregulation. Over the past 9 year she has trained over
2000 clinicians in the use of DBT and also in the use of DBT alongside an
experiential therapy Art Therapy. Megan has presented both in Australia, and
Internationally on the subject of DBT and its uses in mental health arenas and
has published her work in DBT and Art Therapy in the ANZATA Journal 2008. Megan
has recently written a chapter in a book titled “DBT-Informed Art Therapy in
Practice” edited by Susan M. Clark published later in 2020. Megan conducts some
Face to Face intensive DBT training programs in Coolangatta, Qld and also
trains clinicians for organizations in other regions of Australia. This online
training replicates the 2 Day Face to Face Intensive DBT training Megan offers
in Coolangatta Qld. Her passion is to train as many Clinicians as possible in
how to assist their clients using DBT.
This
is why she has developed this 16-Session online course for clinicians to do at
the own pace and to be able to refer back to this material whenever they wish.
The training consists of 16 sessions of videos and a Workbook/Manual of 113
pages all sent online to registrants. An evaluation is required at the end of
the training in order to receive a 'Certificate of Participation' for PD
purposes.
This course counts towards 7 hours of category B CPD.
