Getting the most out of professional supervision: Models and strategies for supervisors

This webinar presentation will provide a definition of clinical supervision and present models of supervision for counsellors. The presentation will include:

  • What is the purpose of supervision?
  • Duties and responsibilities of a supervisor.
  • Duties and responsibilities of the supervisee.
  • Expectations of the supervision role.

A PowerPoint present will accompany the webinar and discussion of questions will be encouraged.

This webinar will be grounded in the experience of counselling supervision relationships.

This webinar counts as 2 hours of Category A CPD (Continuing Professional Development) if you attend live, or 2 hours of Category B CPD if you watch the recording.

You must attend 75% of a webinar in order to receive a CPD certificate.

Presenter: Barbara Matheson 

Barbara is licensed to deliver the RISE UP Training Program in South Australia, Melbourne, and Tasmania. Barbara is an Honorary member of Australian Counselling Association, Fellow of Counsellors Victoria. As the Immediate Past President of Counsellors Victoria (CV) Barbara has a good depth and breadth of counselling and the counselling industry, and all its attendant issues, she has written and developed 2 approved Supervision Training Courses .Barbara has a successful practice (STS) and has supervisees and supervision groups in several localities.

Event Cancellations
Customers seeking to cancel their registration more than 5 working days (for courses) and 48 hours (for webinars) prior to the event date may request a credit to be applied to their account. Credits will be accessible through the PACFA Portal and are valid for up to a year from the purchase date. This policy is at the discretion of PACFA and may change.
