Trauma Therapy – Personal Intergenerational Trauma

An introduction of trauma and trauma responses will be presented with special focus on trauma intervention framework and strategies. The presentation wil be made in context of the presenter’s personal intergenerational historical account of trauma manifested differently in family members. 

Presenter: Francis Kim

Born in South Korea and migrated to Australia 46 years ago, Francis is trained in psychology, counselling & psychotherapy, runs a busy private practice in Sydney and lectures at Australian College of Applied Professionals. Francis has a particular interest in research and practice of trauma counselling. Francis has served as a treasurer in CAPA prior to merger with PACFA in 2016 and served in PACFA NSW Branch Leadership Group as deputy convenor and convenor since. Francis is passionate about delivering accessible counselling and psychotherapy in the community and for the recognition of counsellors by the governments and the community. 

For PACFA Registrants, the course counts as 2 hours of Category A CPD (Continuing Professional Development).

REFUND POLICY:

Customers seeking to cancel their registration more than 5 working days (for courses) and 48 hours (for webinars) prior to the event date may request a credit to be applied to their account. Cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected]. Cancellations made with less notice than this are non-refundable or exchangeable. Credits will be accessible through the PACFA Portal and are valid for up to a year from the purchase date. This policy is at the discretion of PACFA and may change.
