This workshop is designed to help practitioners work with individuals or couples facing the challenges of differences in sexual expectations, libido and desire. This is one of the most common presenting issues for clients. The topic of sex becomes fraught and often there is little sexual activity and clients can report feeling broken. It’s more complex than simply the amount of sex being had.
Learning outcomes:
- Understand different sexual personality types
- Understand differences in libido
- Face the challenges of differences in sexual expectations
- Understand the difference between spontaneous and responsive desire
- Ability to coach couples to accept and work with difference
- Frameworks and suggestions for couples to use when negotiating or talking about sex
