Externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy | Melbourne

The Externship in EFCT is the first step in becoming a Certified EFT Couple Therapist with the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). It contains didactic teaching about the theoretical underpinnings of the EFT model, the evidence-base for EFCT, the 3 stages and 9 steps of the EFCT model (the EFT road map), a comprehensive overview of the key EFT therapist interventions including the EFT Tango, as well as video demonstrations, small-group activities and, where possible, a live demonstration of an EFCT session.

Presenter/s:

Dr Clare Rosoman is a clinical psychologist and EFT Trainer from Brisbane, Australia. She is the Director of the Brisbane Centre for EFT (BCEFT) and of a psychology practice named the Brisbane Centre for Attachment and Relationships. With over 24 years’ experience as a psychologist, Clare has spoken nationally and internationally on EFT and is happiest when inspiring other therapists in the EFT model.

Linda Murrow, M.A. is a Certified EFT Therapist, Supervisor & Founder of the Melbourne Community for EFT where she has coordinated training and professional development for EFT therapists since 2017. Linda holds postgraduate qualifications in couple and family therapy and has extensive teaching and training experience in a range of counselling organisations and university programs.

This course counts towards 26 hours of category A CPD.
