 Replenish Retreat 

 

Replenish Retreat is designed to support any practitioner in health and healing professions, such as Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Counsellors, Social Workers, Hypnotherapists, Equine Assisted Therapists, Massage Therapists, Community Support Workers and Life Coaches. 

The objectives of this retreat are to: 

Allow participants to take stock of their balance between present professional and personal situation. This will include aspects such as:  self-expectations, processing and addressing counter transference issues, boundaries, support / supervision and work/life balance. 

The clinical education component offered during the retreat will allow participants to gain skills through:

• Introduction to parts work for self and clients 
• Introduction to Gestalt techniques – Present awareness, field theory and horizontalism through experiential exercises  
• Using Visualisation and mindfulness techniques when working with clients
• The four pillars of health - theory and practice 

This 2-day retreat allows time and space to: 

• Explore Physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual needs to discover if these needs are being met, whilst dealing with the demands, challenges and the long-term impacts of your work.

• Experience the benefits of meditation and yoga each day, allowing you to experience calming your body and engaging the parasympathetic nervous system. 

• Provide you with practical self-care tools and strategies you can take home to apply in your daily life to enable you to maintain the integrity and enjoyment of your work despite work/life challenges.

• Offer you group connection and group supervision, peer-support, psycho and clinical education as well as some down-time. 

• Enjoy the beauty of the resort and begin to practice self-care

Brenda Tanner – Graduate Certificate Gestalt Therapy, Certificate Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Clinical Resource Therapist, Diploma in Learning and Development, Diploma in Adult Education.
Specialties: Adult Trauma Recovery, Equine Assisted Therapy/Learning, Leadership Development, Couples Therapy, Personal Wellbeing and Growth.
