A four day externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples

This four-day event introduces mental health professionals to the EFT for Couples model, interventions and the three change events that help a couple move from conflict or alienation to a more secure bond.  The work shop integrates attachment and emotion theories through  EFT experiential exercises, didactic teaching, recordings of sessions and role-play exercises. This workshop is the first step toward becoming a Certified EFT Couples Therapist, through the International Centre for EFT, Ottawa Canada.

Assoc Prof Jenny Fitzgerald PhD is a Clinical Psychologist, certified EFT trainer since 2012, Co-author of An emotionally focused workbook for couples: The two of Us (second edition 2021) and editor of Foundations for Couples Therapy: Research for the real world in 2017.  

This course counts towards 26.5 hours of category A CPD.
