Deepening Skills in IFS

2, 9, 16, 23, 30 April and 7, 14, 21, 28 May 2024, 9:00am - 1:00pm AEST

 

This experiential dive into IFS will include didactic learning, demonstrations of the IFS model and practice groups lead by skilled IFS therapists

Learning outcomes

• Explore what therapeutic attunement looks like in the IFS Model
• Deepen your understanding of working polarizations and practice working with multiple parts at a time  
• Work with our own triggers and our own parts 
• Access and staying in Self energy in the therapy room 
• Understand the entire flow of the Model including working with exiles
• Gain understanding of working with complex systems including protectors who need more time before stepping back and systems with significant internal conflict, including those diagnosed with BPD and Schizophrenia, eating disorders and addictions
• Spaciousness for lots of questions

This course is not affiliated with the Internal Family Systems Institute (IFSI) nor is it a substitute for nor equivalent to the IFS Institutes Level 1, 2 or 3 trainings. To become IFS certified, you must complete the IFS Institute's Level 1 training and complete the certification process.

3 Years advanced training in Transactional Analysis 
Voice Dialogue training
Open Dialogue training
10 years post qualification experience working in Mental Health with clients who experience diagnoses of BPD and schizophrenia
Ethics approval as co-investigator in research on IFS and Psychosis, with Flinders Uni and University of California San Francisco - starting in 2024

This course counts towards 36 hours of category A CPD.
